Foodmate News: According to the African Swine Fever prevention and control epidemic information released by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Foodmate did an incomplete statistics. In June 2020, there were 1067 African swine fever outbreaks in 10 countries and regions, including 73 domestic pigs and 994 wild boars.

The countries with African swine fever outbreaks in June involved 10 countries and regions in China, Poland, Hungary, Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, South Korea, Latvia, and the Philippines. Among them, Poland had the largest number of African swine fever outbreaks, with 661 cases. Followed by Hungary, there were 266 cases.


The occurrence date of African swine fever is June 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 11, 11, 15, 16, 21, 26 and 30 respectively. See the following figure for specific data:


It is understood that as of June 30, since 2020, there have been 1233 domestic pigs and 5846 wild boars in a total of 7079 African swine fever outbreaks in 23 countries and regions around the world.
